1st day : Arrival to Tangier – Chefchaouen

In the first day of your 13-day Absolute Morocco tour. We pick you up from your accommodation, the airport or the port in Tangier “the bride of the north”. The city is located northwest where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. Firstly, we will explore the beautiful city, and visit the cave of Hercules and the Cape Spartel. Free time for lunch. After that we drive inland to Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Stops will be made along the way for panoramic views. Finally, we reach the Chefchaouen, overnight stay in a hotel


2nd day : Sightseeing Chefchaouen the blue city

After breakfast, the 13 day tour continues to explore Chefchaouen the blue city. Also known as Achaoun, which means horns in Berber. The city is located in the Rif mountains northwest Morocco. It is famous for its buildings and alleyways painted in blue and white. We will stroll in its charming old Medina, which has so many beautiful authentic blue doors. Free time for lunch. Finally you can hike to the Spanish mosque, located on a high ground. Where you can see the spectacular view of the whole blue city. Overnight stay in the same hotel.


3rd day : Chefchaouen – the Roman ruins of  Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, feel free to wander in the beautiful alleyways of the blue city Chefchaouen. Then we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there. Along with beautiful ancient pillars and archways. After strolling in the ruins, we drive 30 km to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes the Ismaili capital. In which we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we head to Fes. Overnight stay in a riad


4th day : Guided Tour Sightseeing Fes

We pick you from your accommodation after breakfast, to explore the city of Fes. The city is considered one of the imperial cities, besides being the cultural and religious center of Morocco.

We start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then the well preserved medieval Medina, that is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. The Blue gate or Bab Boujloud is the entrance of the old Medina. You will enter the Medina with a local guide. To visit The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries. And finally the Quaraouin mosque and university – The oldest university in the world. After that we leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”. Then we drive to an ancient fortress, for panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes. Then return to your Riad.


5th day : Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, the 13-day Absolute Morocco tour continues south through Imouzzer. To visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow and also the alpine-style architecture houses. No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to cedars forest, where the Barbary macaques lives. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. Later, we continue to Midelt, where we will have a free time for lunch. Then we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass, and along the Ziz valley, with stops for panoramic views.

In the afternoon we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you switch to camels to cross the sandy desert, then a stop will be made to enjoy the sunset. After that you continue to the camp which is a combination between the traditional tents of nomads and the luxury a hotel has. Where you can enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under vast open sky of stars.


6th day : Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

After breakfast, we dedicate the day to explore the region of Merzouga. The area has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes, wild lake, mines, fossils areas, to fabulous oases. Which are ideal places for so many outdoor activities. We start our journey in Merzouga, by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit in their handmade woven tent. And learn how they live while drinking a Berber tea.

Our next destination is the Khamlia village, where you can enjoy the Gnaoua music and dancing performances. Its inhabitants are originating from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. After that we take a stroll in palm trees grove. Then drive a few kilometres to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called the lake of flamingos. Finally, return to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight In a hotel.


7th day : Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early in the morning is a must do, in order to contemplate the beautiful sunrise. Free time for breakfast. Then we leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani still a major trading center in the region. With a large souk lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After a stroll in Rissani souk. Thereafter, we continue to Erfoud, where we visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble.

Then we drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of Todra river has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains. This high red cliff-sided canyon is an ideal place for rock climbers. Feel free to wander in the gorges and appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then we continue to the Dades valley through Boumalne Dades. Finally, inevitable stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation. And for the panoramic view of the Dades valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.


8th day : Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, oil, to cosmetic products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Then we reach Ouarzazate, where we visit the studios in which famous movies were shot. And also visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.


9th day : Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. And TV series including Game Of Thrones. After that we visit the Telouet Kasbah. Then we continue to Marrakesh by going through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch, and to take pictures at interesting spots. Finally, we reach Marrakech. Overnight stay in a Riad.


10th day : Guided tour sightseeing Marrakech

After a warm breakfast, we will be exploring the Highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities in Morocco. The visit includes : the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. And stroll in the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Free time for lunch near the Jemaa El-Fna square. Later on, you visit the Koutoubia mosque the largest in Marrakesh, and the Majorelle garden. Transfer to your accommodation. Feel free to wander in Jemaa El-Fna square on your own.


11th day : Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast, we drive west to Essaouira city. On the way we will make stops to see the Argan trees goats, and for panoramic views. We reach the Essaouira city, formerly Mogador, one of the important coastal cities in Morocco. In which we visit the fishing port, the ancient ramparts with cannons, and the old medina. Overnight stay in Essaouira.


12th day : Essaouira – Casablanca

In the 12th day of your 13-day Absolute Morocco tour. We depart from Essaouira and drive along the coastline, with stops for panoramic views. We reach Casablanca city the economical center of Morocco. Where we visit the Hassan II mosque the largest mosque in Morocco, and the Casablanca Cornish. Free time for lunch. Then drive to Rabat the capital of Morocco. Overnight stay in Rabat.


13th day : Sightseeing Rabat the capital – Tangier airport

After breakfast. we explore Rabat city one of the imperial cities in Morocco, and the current capital. It is located on northwest of Morocco. You will visit the Highlights of the city including : the Hassan tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and The Kasbah of Oudaya. Free time for lunch. A Trek In The Two Gorges 5 Days – Marrakech

Day 1Marrakech

Greeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. Dinner and night.

Day 2MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – TINGHIR (373 km)

After breakfast, departure for Ouarzazate through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m). Lunch at the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah. We continue on the road of the Kasbahs via Skoura and Kal‚at M’gouna. Arrival in Tinghir. Dinner and night at the Kenzi Saghro 4*or similar.

Day 3TINGHIR (3 hours walk)

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

Day 4GORGES DU DADES (53 km – 4 hours walk)

After breakfast, visit to the Dades Gorges. Lunch, then trek of about 4 hrs in the valley of the Targht. Return to hostel Aït Oudinar, dinner and night.

Day 5DADES – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH (320 km)

After breakfast, trek of about 2 hrs in the valley of the Pink Laurels. Departure for Ouarzazate via Skoura. Lunch at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah and we continue to Marrakech, across the High Atlas through the Tizi-n- Tichka pass. Arrival in Marrakech. Dinner and night in Tichka Salam 4* or similar.

Day 6MARRAKECH

After breakfast, visit to Marrakech. Lunch. Stroll in the souks and Djemaa el Fna Square. Moroccan evening. Night in hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to airport and flight back home.
